  3. 1 mediumonion in wedges
  4. 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 1/4 cupgranulated sugar
  7. 1/4 cupwhite distilled vinegar
  8. 2 tspsalt
  9. 1 tspground black pepper
  10. 1/2 tsppeppercorn
  11. dashlemon juice
