Slow Cooked Carne Guisada
This was my favorite dish when I was stationed in San Antonio. I had to move out of state and could not find it. So I made it.
Steps
- 1
My slow cooker has a 4, 6, 8 and 10 hour setting. Put your olive oil in first and I set mine on 8 hours for fall apart meat.
- 2
It's pretty simple, add all ingredients into slow cooker, stir and cover.
- 3
Stir occasionally and keep the fluid as a gravy consistency, adding small amounts of water as needed.
