Chicken & Vegetables in Tamarind Broth >> Filipino Sinampalukan Chicken & Vegetables in Tamarind Broth >> Filipino Sinampalukan
Soup scooped over rice, that's how we like it! Try this healthy and light dish especially on chilly days. Although we eat it during summer too. HeeeheeYou can get a Tamarind soup base (Knorr) at Asian or Filipino shops or you can also use the Thai Tamarind paste :) I have not tried it with Lemon or Lime, I think it would work, as the soup needs to have a hint of acidity/sourness...lemme know?#veggies SpottedByD -

Snow Crab in a Delicious Broth Snow Crab in a Delicious Broth
The egg sack of the crab and the innards are delicious! This is something I always make during winter. Boiled king crab is also delicious, but I absolutely think this broth is much more of a treat. Even though they are rather thin, the trunk and legs are both loaded with succulent juices. Please use fresh live crab. You will not get succulent juices from boiled crab. You don't need to add dashi stock, but if you feel the flavor is not to your taste, then add it. If you have leftover broth, try adding to rice porridge. The broth will transform into yet another delicious dish! For serving 2. Recipe by tomimo cookpad.japan -
California Farm No Salt Vegetable Broth California Farm No Salt Vegetable Broth
We grow a type of celery that has a strong beef flavor, grandpa brought it over from Russia, kept the roots wet in his hankerchief in his pocket. It is a salt substitute. You can grow it indoors in a planter pot, it is called lovage. We harvest it year round, but when lovage bolts, we cut the stalks and make a supply of vegetable broth concentrate with lovage, meat flavored mushrooms, celery, water cress, radishes, winter carrots, fermented beets and celeriac, mace, brewers yeast, onion, summer savory, parsley and tomatoes. No salt, no monosodium glutamate. We freeze this concentrate in ice cube trays and use two cubes per quart of water to make vegetable soup. Hobby Horseman -

Easy Salt Broth Chanko Hot Pot with Weipa Easy Salt Broth Chanko Hot Pot with Weipa
I made a hot pot with Weipa. You don't need to buy hot pot seasonings. With just Weipa, you can make your own hot pot quickly with seasonings you have at home.Weipa gives a good accent to this hot pot. Adjust the amount to your taste. This recipe might be too sweet. We love bean noodles so much that we fight over it. It is nice if you toss in some aburaage. It is easy to use tubed garlic or ginger. Ginger will warm up your body. For 2 servings. Vegetable Broth for Maak Kook Soo Vegetable Broth for Maak Kook Soo
Today for lunch we will have Maak Kook Soo, a Koran style noodles. It is the most simple, popular and inexpensive meal in Korea. Koreans would have this noodle soup when they needed to grab a quick bite to eat, or when they just simply didn’t want to spend too much for a meal. In Korea, dried fish ( myoroochi) would be added to the broth also. All it needed was a good broth, noodles and some kimchi. It took no time to have it ready. You could walk in to a noodle place, called out your order, and by the time you sat down, reached for the chopsticks, a steaming hot bowl of noodles with some green onion and some julienned stir fried squash would be right in front of you. Of course it would take a little longer during rush hour-lunch time. 2choi -
