Quick Beef Pho

I have a young child, so in the mornings we usually have breakfast at home before heading to school. That means breakfast needs to be quick, nutritious, and tasty. This is how I make pho. My child loves it because of the beef, and I love it because it's simple and delicious.

I have a young child, so in the mornings we usually have breakfast at home before heading to school. That means breakfast needs to be quick, nutritious, and tasty. This is how I make pho. My child loves it because of the beef, and I love it because it's simple and delicious.
Steps
- 1
Rinse the beef thoroughly. Place it in a pot and boil with ginger, roasted shallots, and star anise. Add a little seasoning salt to flavor the beef.
- 2
Once the beef is cooked, refrigerate it to make it easier to slice thinly.
- 3
Season the beef broth with bouillon powder to taste. Finely chop the scallions and mint. Thinly slice the white parts of the scallions.
- 4
Blanch the rice noodles, then arrange the sliced beef, scallions, and mint on top. Pour the hot broth over everything.
- 5
Enjoy!
