Spring onion fish cakes Spring onion fish cakes
Fish cakes work excellent as starters! You serve it with mayonnaise, cheese or mustard sauce they go well with almost any choice of dip. While I prefer making them with King fish popularly called Surmai in India you can try making it with any boneless fish of your preference. And because the local vegetable market was brimming with the winter special spring onions I happened to finely chop them and add in the cakes. Sharing my recipe with you all. Hope you enjoy them as much as my folks did! Happy eating!!! Kamalika Basu De -

Fluffy Hanpen Fish Cakes Cooked in Aurora Sauce Fluffy Hanpen Fish Cakes Cooked in Aurora Sauce
My kid decided that they wanted to eat hanpen fishcakes when we were at the supermarket and stuck it in the shopping cart without asking. I got irritated, and put it back originally, but I figured what the heck, and made this dish to make my cute son happy; I guess I spoil my kids.I cooked this in 7 minutes with my oven's grill function, but it is okay as long as the cheese melts, so you can microwave it as well. The aurora sauce tastes great with a little garlic added in.
