Vickys Ras-El-Hanout Moroccan Spice Mix, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free

I love the flavours found in Moroccan foods and the best thing about a ras-el-hanout mix is that you can add in or leave out whatever you want to! The first few ingredients make up the base then it's up to you what else you add in to expand the flavour. Some mixes can use up to 100 different spices, some use 10. It's completely down to your taste and every household will have their own version! This is my favourite version of the spice mix

Ras-El-Hanout Spice Blend Ras-El-Hanout Spice Blend
Adapted from a recipe from moroccanfood.com - because I din't have any allspice, I altered the amounts of other spices I did have with similar qualities. Ras-El-Hanout often contains dried rose petals, too, which is beautiful. The scent of the spices alone transport me. Try it... Celeste -

Any oil of preference will work. Personally I prefer olive spreads and I had enough grapeseed & olive oil in the cupboard to try them out. Next time I'll try a darker olive oil and sunflower oil as I thought it came out quite pale. A touch of turmeric would brighten the colour Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook -
