Ingredients

  1. 6 mediumpotatoes cubed
  2. 1 canCream of chicken soup
  3. 1 canCheddar cheese soup
  4. 3 tbspFlour
  5. 2 cupMilk
  6. 1/4 cupMelted butter
  7. 2 cupShredded cheddar cheese
  8. 2 cupBacon bits

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Rinse and cube potatoes. Boil until tender.

  2. 2

In medium bowl combine milk, butter and flour. Whisk together and add to potatoes. Stir frequently as mixture will stick to bottom of kettle.

  3. 3

Add can of cream of chicken soup. Stir canned soup until blended with soup mixture.

  4. 4

Add can of cheddar cheese soup. Stir canned soup until blended with soup mixture.

  5. 5

Add bacon bits (I usually use hormel bacon bits not the crunchy ones but either will do and give the flavor). Salt and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

Add 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese is melted in. Mixture should be thickening a little and if not watching will stick to bottom of kettle.

  7. 7

Cook at least 10 minutes after all ingredients are in to let flavors flow!! Serve.
