I know they are given different names but we like calling them potato nuggets at home.my sons love them and whenever they really want to have some
I just find the ingredients all ready on the kitchen well prepared mine is just to cook.I dedicate these to Jesse and Sam my beloved sons who if asked I should make these every weekend.

Ingredients

serving 3pesons
  1. 350 gmsflour
  2. 1 Tea spoonbaking powder
  3. 1 Teaspoonsalt
  4. 1 Teaspoonegg yellow food colour
  5. Whole slightly pre-boiled potatoes
  6. 2 bunchescorriander
  7. 1 Teaspoonturmeric
  8. Cooking vegetable oil
  9. 1 cupwater-500ml
  10. 1 Tea spoongarlic powder

Steps

    Pre boil potatoes in their skin

  2. 2

    While they boil,prepare their coating.Mix all the dry ingredients-salt,flour,tumeric,egg yellow and garlic powder.Add in the water and make a fine paste

  3. 3

    Add in the finely cut corriander and mix into the paste.By now the potatoes are slightly cooked.

  4. 4

    Put oil in the frying pan and let it heat.Cut the potatoes in halves and dip them in the paste.

  5. 5

    After they've taken up flavours from the paste the oil is nice and hot for them to fry

  6. 6

    Dip them potatoes in the hot oil,one by one.Remember to let the potatoes get well coated in the paste before frying them

  7. 7

    You can grate some Cheddar cheese on them and serve with some salad on the side.
