Ingredients

  • 1 cupbesan
  • 1/2 cupsuji
  • 1/4 cuprice flour
  • 1 cupgrated lauki
  • 1/2 cupchopped coriander (dhania)
  • 1 tspcarom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1 pinchturmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 pinchhing
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1green chilli, finely chopped or to tatse
  • as requiredsalt
  • water for the batter
  • oil for cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all Ingredients in a bowl and add enough water to make a thin-medium consistency batter.Mix well to avoid any lumps.

    Heat the tava and pour a spoonful of batter and spread it out in circle to make pancake maintaining about 1/2 an inch thickness.Pour some oil around and on the pancakes.

    After a minute toss the pancake the other side.Both the sides of the pancake should be golden brown then take the pancake out.

    Serve the pancakes while hot with mint chutney or with tomato ketchup.
