Ingredients

  • 2 largeRusset potatoes peeled and baked
  • 4 ozShredded cheddar
  • 1 tbspSalt
  • 1 1/4 cupFlour
  • 1 tbspBlack pepper
  • 1 1/2Sweet onion
  • 1 1/4 tspCayenne powder

  1. 1

    For baked potatoes preheat oven too 450°F place potatoes in for 35 min along with half onion till potatoes are soft outside little firm in middle. Peal skin off potatoes and grate on large holes of box grater, chop onion fine pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix all ingredients together, roll each tot to size you wish. Set deep fryer to 375. Deep fry 10 tots at a time, aproximately 7 mins each batch, till golden brown. Place in bowl with paper towels toss with salt to taste.

Been cooking since 5 started with eggs just decided to go to school in culinary arts you all inspire me. My plating and recipes will get a lot better since I'm a perfectionist. I hope you all live what I share with you in the future. Update 2025 I am now head Chef of 2 restaurants 1 dry age steak house and the other a entire senior living community.
