Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspoil
  2. 1large onion chopped finely
  3. 1 tspginger, minced
  4. 1 tspminced garlic
  5. 2green chillies slit lengthwise
  6. 1bell pepper, finely chopped
  7. 1 cupeach of each of these vegetables, finely diced and boiled:
  8. 1 cupboiled and peeled potatoes
  9. 1/2 cupboiled green peas
  10. 3 tsppav bhaji masala
  11. 1 tspred chilli powder
  12. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 1/2 tsplemon juice
  15. 2buns (called pavs)

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan. Add onions, ginger, garlic, and green chillies and sauté till golden brown. Add boiled vegetables and stir.

  2. 2

    Stir in the pav bhaji masala, turmeric, tomatoes, capsicum and salt. Add slit green chillies and water and mix it well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Mash the vegetables till they are little pulpy

  4. 4

    Add lemon juice and serve with toasted buns with onions and cucumber
