Ingredients

  • For Achaari Marinade
  • 1 tbspGreen Chilli Pickle
  • 1/2 cupHung Curd
  • 1 tspChopped Garlic
  • 1 tspFennel Seeds
  • 1/2 tspMustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tspFenugreek Seeds (methi)
  • 1/4 tspNigella Seeds (kalonji)
  • 1 tspCumin Seeds
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspMustard Oil
  • to tasteSalt
  • Other Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cupsSoya Chunks (soaked and squeezed)
  • as neededOil for greasing & cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all the ingredients except the curd in a mixer & blend to a coarse mixture.

  2. 2

    Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl, add the curd & mix well.

  3. 3

    Add the soya chunks to prepared achaari marinade, mix gently and keep aside to marinate for 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Arrange the marinated soya chunks on satay sticks and keep aside.

  5. 5

    Heat a non stick tawa (griddle), grease it with little oil. Place few satays on it and cook it on a medium flame, using a little oil. Repeat the same for more satays.

  6. 6

    Serve immediately with pudina chutney.
