Broccoli comes from Cabbage and Cauliflower group of family. It is packed with a lot of micronutrients and many vitamins like A , B12 ,C. As it is available in winter season, we should take the opportunity to get the nutrition value for our families. It can be used as half boiled , Soup , in sizzler even as simple as sauté.

I have made as sauté Broccoli. florets which is very simple , easy yet very yummy and tasty. Can be used as a starter in lunch or dinner

Ingredients

2 to 4 servings
  1. 300 gmBroccoli, cleaned, washed and separate as florets
  2. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  3. 1/4salt or as per your taste
  4. 1/3Cumin (zeera) seeds
  5. 1/4Kalonji seeds
  6. 1/4Ajwain seeds
  7. as you needCrushed black pepper
  8. Butter or desi ghee to cook

Steps

  1. 1

    Take the Broccoli florets in a microwave oven safe bowl.

  2. 2

    Mix salt and turmeric powder properly and cook in pre-heated microwave oven for 3 minutes.

  3. 3

    In a wok heat butter. Let the seeds spluter in heated butter.

    Now add the Broccoli and in low medium flame for 2 minutes
    carefully to avoid breaking of florets.

  5. 5

    Switch off the flame and add crushed black pepper, mix and serve hot as a starter.
