Pour the fresh curd in a cloth(muslin) and tie it up. Hang the cloth for 2 hours and squeeze with hands to strain all the water from it.soak kesar in the milk and keep it aside.

Take out the curd in a bowl and add sugar, cardamom to it. Mix them well with the curd.Put the kesar milk into the curd mixture and whisk well. Save some pistachios for garnishing and put the rest of them into the curd mixture.

Shreekhand is ready. Transfer the dish in a serving bowl and garnish with remaining pistachios. Keep the bowl inside the fridge to chill it for 2 hours. Take it out after 2 hours and serve the chilled Shreekhand to your family in the dessert.
