Ingredients

  • 1/2 litre, milk,
  • 2 cupsugar,
  • 8-10 saffron threads,
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • -1 cup chenna
  • ,1/2 cup sugar,
  • as neededPistachio,
  • as neededalmonds,
  • as neededsaffron threads
  • For- chenna
  • For- garnishing..

Steps

  1. 1

    First boil water & sugar on gas stove for making chena payesh mash chenna with your hands and palm and make it soft

  2. 2

    Divide this into small portion and give the shape of payesh put this into boiling water and cover it for 10 min.on high flame

  3. 3

    After that then out from water and let it cool down into another pan take milk and sugar

  4. 4

    Let it boil for some time on low flame

  5. 5

    Add cardamom powder and saffron into it and let it boil till it's get thick. Let it cool down after cooling dip chenna payesh into rabdi and keep this in refrigerator for some time.

  6. 6

    Garnish it with pistachio, almonds, saffron serve chilled
