Ingredients

  1. 4 teaspoonsbaking powder
  2. 3/4 cupsmilk
  3. 1/4 cupssugar
  4. 4 tablespoonsbutter
  5. 2 cupssifted flour
  6. 3/4 teaspoonssalt
  7. Filling
  8. 3/4 cupsbrown sugar
  9. 3 tablespoonsbutter
  10. Topping
  11. 3 tablespoonsbutter
  12. 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  13. 1 tablespoonmelted butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt butter

  2. 2

    Add sugar beat till smooth

  3. 3

    Prepare dough as for baking powder biscuits

  4. 4

    Roll to 1/2 inch thick

  5. 5

    Spread with butter

  6. 6

    Top with brown sugar

  7. 7

    Roll as for jelly roll

  8. 8

    Cut into 1 inch pieces and place on baking sheet

  9. 9

    Cream brown sugar and butter

  10. 10

    Top rolls with it

  11. 11

    Brush with melted butter

  12. 12

    Bake at 400 for 25 minutes
