Ingredients

  • 200 gmall purpose flour
  • 3 tbsghee for moan
  • 100 gmdesiccated coconut
  • 20 gmsmisri
  • 1/2 tea spooncardamon powder
  • Pinchkesar
  • 1 tspkismish
  • 1 tspcrushed cashew nut
  • Or any other dry fruits of your choice
  • Ghee for frying gujiyas

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a big plate. Take all purpose flour. Add ghee for moan. Mix it well with both the palm. When you take the flour in the fist and press it that should be take the shape of fist. If you need add lil more ghee.

    Add water and bind a tight dough. Cover it and give rest for 15 to 20 mins.

  3. 3

    By the time make a stuffing. Take a big bowl add decicated coconut,misri,dry fruits,kesar,cradamom powder. Mix it well.

  4. 4

    Take a small ball of dough and roll it into round. Apply water on the circle so that it won't get open after filling the stuffing. Fill the stuffing and make a semicircle of that roti. Press gently and bind it with gujiya cutter or give shape of gujiya with your hand.

  5. 5

    Heat the ghee. Fry gujiyas on a low flame till the golden brown.
