Ingredients

1 hour 30 mins
2 servings
  1. Meat
  2. 1/2Prebutchered Rabbit (Frozen or Fresh)
  3. 1Salt Water
  4. Sauce
  5. 1 cupSpicy Brown Mustard
  6. 2 sliceBacon
  7. 1 tbspHot Sauce (Add more if you want more spice)
  8. 1 tspGarlic Powder
  9. 1 tspPaprika
  10. 1 tspSalt
  11. 1 tspPepper

Cooking Instructions

1 hour 30 mins
  1. 1

If Frozen: Defrost the rabbit in salt water until fully defrosted (60-70 mins)

  2. 2

If Fresh: Soak the rabbit in salt water for 20-30 mins.

  3. 3

After soaking set it to the side and let it dry for 10 mins or so.

  4. 4

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  5. 5

In a large bowl mix the Mustard, Hot Sauce, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Salt, and Pepper. Chop up the Bacon and throw that in the bowl as well. Then mix the Rabbit in and give it a couple of hand tosses.

  6. 6

Take the rabbit out and set it on a baking tray. The extra sauce and bacon will most likely be sticking to the side of the mixing bowl. Just take the excess bacon and sauce mixture and put it on top of the rabbit.

  7. 7

Cook the rabbit for 40 mins at 350°F. Then turn it to a Hi-Broil for an additional 3 mins or so to crisp the bacon and outside of the Rabbit.

  8. 8

After cooking let it cool, serve it with some sides and enjoy.
