Ingredients

3 person
  • 200 gFlattened rice
  • 1boiled potato
  • 1small onion chopped
  • 1Carrot
  • 1/2Cauliflower
  • 1/2 cupBeans
  • 1/2 cupGreen peas
  • 1Green chilli
  • 1/2 cupPea nuts
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1cardamom
  • 2 tspRefined oil
  • 1 tspGhee or clarified butter
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1 tspSugar.
  • 1 tspLemon juice..
  • as neededCashew nuts for garnishing
  • to tasteTurmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and cut all the vegetables into small pieces.. keep it aside

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a kadhai.add bay leaf cardamom and green chilli..

  3. 3

    Add sliced onion.stir it for one minute.

  4. 4

    Add peanut and stir it for 1/2 minute..

  5. 5

    Add carrot cauliflower beans and peas.stir it till all the vegetables become soft. Add turmeric powder.Add bolied potato.

  6. 6

    Wash and soak the flattened rice in water for 2 to 3 minutes.

  7. 7

    Squeeze the flattened rice from water and add it into the kadhai..Stir it for 3 to 4 minutes..

  8. 8

    Add salt and sugar.

  9. 9

    Add one tsp ghee.and mix the ghee with vegetables and flattened rice nicely..

  10. 10

    Add lemon juice. Garnish it with fried kaju..Serve hot as breakfast
