Bubur Ubi (sweet potatoes porridge)

Ingredients

  1. 4 mediumSweet Potatoes
  2. 2 cupdark brown sugar
  3. 4 cupwater
  4. 1/4 tspsalt
  5. 1 tbspcornstarch (disolve with 2tbsp water)
  6. 1 cupcoconut milk
  7. 1/4 cupwater
  8. 1/2 tspsalt
  9. 1 tspcornstarch (disolve with 1tbsp water)

Cooking Instructions

    peel sweet Potatoes n cubed, soak in the water, drained

  2. 2

    boil water in pot and put the sweet potatoes, cook until tender

  3. 3

    add dark brown sugar n cook till sugar melt

  4. 4

    add 1/4 salt and cornstarch

  5. 5

    simmer until thick, remove from the heat n cool

  6. 6

    coconuts sauce: boil in another pot (coconuts milk, water n salt), add 1tbsp cornstarch n cook till thick. remove from the heat n cool

  7. 7

    serving: serve mix sweet potatoes on the small bowl and topping with 2tbsp coconuts sauce.
