Cooking Instructions

Place butter, sugar and golden syrup in a mixing bowl and cream them together with a wooden spoon for 5-10 minutes until light, fluffy and the color should turn creamy white. Gradually add in beaten egg and vanilla extract. Continue whisking until soft and smooth.

Sift in baking soda, salt and flour, and mix well. Reserve 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips and place in the remaining to the dough, mix well.

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and knead them to a ball shape. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or baking paper. Top each cookie dough with the reserved chocolate chips.

Bake then in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool cookies on wire rack when done. Enjoy :)
