
ravioli with peas and bacon
Steps

cook bacon in large skillet, transfer to paper towel to drain

set aside 2-3 T bacon fat
- 3
cook the ravioli in salted boiling water according to package directions
- 4
remove ravioli reserving 1/2 c pasta water
- 5
heat the bacon grease, add the ravioli and cook until golden, stirring and turning
- 6
in a saucepan, bring the peas and cream to a simmer and simmer until peas are tender. salt, pepper, sprinkle of garlic powder
- 7
pour peas into skillet with ravioli, mix in crumbled bacon and parmesan
- 8
add some pasta water to thin to desired thickness
- 9
taste, add salt and pepper if needed
