This recipe I ripped off my cousin but I made it my way. The chicken will fall off the bone so be careful when removing from grill . I also do our Thanksgiving Turkey this way .

Ingredients

  1. 1Lawrys Garlic & Herb marinade
  2. 4 lbWhole Chicken
  3. 1cajun style seasoning
  4. 2 pinchRosemary
  5. 1 stickButter
  6. 12 ozBeer can
  7. Brine
  8. 1 gallonbottled water
  9. 2 cupbrown sugar
  10. 1 cupsalt

Cooking Instructions

    remove liver and neck bone inside chicken

    Brine: mix sugar and salt in water till it disolves

  3. 3

    Brine chicken over night submerge chicken in a pot with water mix and place in fridge

    you also need chicken stand for the grill you can get one at any big retailer

    dry chicken from brine and season with cajun seasoning

  6. 6

    mash butter on neck area of the chicken pour half the bottle of marinade all over the chicken sprinkle rosemary

  7. 7

    pour 4 oz of beer in a cup and pour it on chicken while it cooks about 1 hr

  8. 8

    place the can with remaining beer in chicken stand and place chicken over beer can inside the cavity

  9. 9

    cook till it reaches 165°F about 2 hrs at 250°F make sure theres no blood on the bone and serve
