Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspbutter
  2. 2 tbspflour
  3. 2 tspbasil
  4. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1 tsppepper
  6. 1/2 tspthyme
  7. 1 tsporegano
  8. 2 tspparsley
  9. 2 tspgarlic powder
  10. 2/3 cupfresh grated parmesan cheese
  11. 1 tspsugar
  12. 1 cupsour cream
  13. 3 cangreen beans, drained
  14. 2 1/2 cupcheddar cheese
  15. 1 1/2 cupcrushed french fried onions.

    Preheat oven to 350

  2. 2

    Melt butter in sauce pan. Add flour. Mix until smooth. Cook for one minute. Then add to mixing bowl.

    Stir in seasonings in list to sour cream.

  4. 4

    Next add green beans and 1 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.

  5. 5

    Pour mixture in to 2 1/2 quart size casserole dish. Spread remaining cheese over top then cover cheese with fried onions

  6. 6

    Baked covered for 20 minutes then UN cover and bake for 10 to 15 minutes more. It will be golden brown and bubbly cheese.

  7. 7

    ***** If you want to keep top crunchy please leave uncovered. Covering will cause the onions to moisten and soft from condensation.
