  1. 250 gmspaneer (cut into cubes)
  2. 2medium onions (finely chopped)
  3. 1 tspginger (chopped)
  4. 3,4garlic cloves
  5. 3tomatoes
  6. 6,8cashew nuts, soaked in water for 15 mins
  7. 1small piece of bay leaf
  8. 2green chillies
  9. 1/2 cupmilk
  10. 2 tspkasuri methi
  11. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  12. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  13. 1 tspred chilli powder
  14. 2 tbspfresh cream
  15. 2 tbspbutter
  16. 2 tbspoil
  17. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Cut paneer into 1 inch pieces.

    Grind onions,ginger and garlic in a grinder and make onion paste. Add 2 tbsp water to make cashew nut paste.blanch the tomatoes and blend them to prepare tomato puree.

    Add onion paste and bay leaf and saute until onion paste turns light brown for approx.4 to 5 mins.

    Add green chilli and red chilli powder and saute for 30,40 seconds.Add cashew nut paste.

    Stir and cook for 2 mins.

    Add tomato puree and cook until oil starts to separate from the puree,it will take around 3,4 mins.

    Add coriander powder and garam masala powder and mix well.

    Add 1/2 cup milk,1/2 cup water and salt,mix and cook until oil comes on the surface or for approx.4 to 5 mins.

    Add paneer cubes,kasuri methi and cook for approx 2 mins or until you get the desired consistency of gravy.

    Add fresh cream

    Mix properly and turn off the flame.

  12. 12

    Serve with jeera rice or roti.
