Preheat oven to 375

Melt butter in shallow baking pan

Place chicken in pan and brush with butter, salt, and pepper and bake for 30 minutes.

Melt 1/4 cup butter in sauce pan.

Add onions and mushrooms and saute until tender

Sprinkle with flour and add wine.

Stir constantly and simmer until sauce is thick.

Season with salt and pepper and add pan drippings into sauce.

Add cream.
