Steps

Take the ingredients for powder, roast them and put them in the blender. Grind them in to powder.

Take toor dal soaked well, add 3-4 times the water, and add the chopped vegetables. Whistle out 2-3 times in cooker. Or the veggies can be boiled separately too for not over cooking them.

Take a pan add ghee and add in mustard seeds, curry leaves chillies and chopped onion. Stir them until light brown, then add tomatoes and nicely mix all in to great mix

Add the dal and vegetable mix if more water required boil and add.

Sambhar is ready.

Healthy and can have with rice
