
Greek style spaghetti with beef

Slice meat into fairly large uneven pieces, pat them dry.

In a deep heavy bottom pan, med-high heat, add oil and brown beef in 2 batches without overcrowding. Set meat aside.

Add grated onion, cook 4mins.

Add garlic, cook for 1 minute then add cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a pinch of sugar. Cook 1 minute stirring.

Add beef and juices, pepper, wine, tomatoes and paste. Then stir in hot water.

Put lid on once boiling, then turn down to lowest heat and cook 1.5-2hrs.

Stir every 20 minutes, cook pasta and serve with parmesan.
