Ingredients

  1. 1 tbspThyme
  2. 1 1/2 tspRosemary
  3. 2 stickCulantro diced
  4. 3Stems of cilantrillo diced
  5. 1 smallRed onion diced
  6. 1 smallYellow onion diced
  7. 1 smallGreen pepper diced
  8. 1 stickSeboll?n diced
  9. 1Sofrito (if other vegetables are not available then put 2 cubes of sofrito)
  10. 1 smallRed pepper diced
  11. 5 cloveGarlic diced
  12. 2 tbspAnchote infused oil (prepare by boiling oil with anchote) prepared
  13. 2 pinchOregano
  14. 1/2 tbspParsley
  15. 1/2 tbspItalian seasoning (pre made)
  16. 1/2 tbspParsley
  17. 1Cubed bouillon of chicken
  18. 1Cubed or powder Bouillon of ham
  19. 1 can15 oz prego or ragu spaghetti sauce
  20. 1 tspSugar or substitute
  21. 2 lbGround turkey
  22. 1 tbspSalzonador seasoning 'Goya'
  23. 2 tbspTomato paste
  24. 1 packagesPastry dough for empanadas

Steps

  1. 1

    Put all ingredients except for meat in pot, medium heat , stir well and simmer.

  2. 2

    Once you see the vegetables are soft... Add the meat and continue to stir.. Taste.. If you want you can add another bouillon of ham to taste. Let mixture simmer.. Until it thickens..

  3. 3

    Tomato paste is added for color and thickness of mixture. Some oil can be added if the meat is sticking..

  4. 4

    This meat mixture can also be prepared for lasagna as well
