Boil rice in a pan or pressure cook it.Grind the rice with little water or milk. Don’t grind too thick like a paste.

Just give one or two churn in mixture.

On a low flame heat the milk.
Add the ground rice to the hot milk and keep stirring.
Check there should not be any lump. Add the saffron and cardamom powder. - 4
Add the condensed milk and stir well.
Add the sugar to payasam.
Give it a boil and let the Paysam get will thicken. - 5
Keep stirring to avoid the paysam sticking to bottom.
Once you get the required consistency. - 6
Turn off the heat.
Let it cool down and keep it refrigerated for couple of hours.
Garnish the paysam with nuts before serving.
