Ingredients

  • 2medium Carrots or (1 cup grated Carrots)
  • 2 tablespoonsGhee
  • 2 1/2 cupsMilk
  • 2 teaspoonmilk powder
  • 2 tablespoonsCondensed Milk
  • 5-6Cashew Nuts, broken into two-three pieces
  • 8-10Raisins, optional
  • 1 tablespoonSugar
  • Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel and grate carrots or coarsely grind them in a food processor.

  2. 2

    Add 2 tbsp ghee to the kadai, and saute dry fruits for 2 minutes keep it out. Now add carrot and saute it for 10 minutes with low medium flame.

  3. 3

    In Another pan boil milk and make it 2 cups.

  4. 4

    Take a little milk in a cup add milk powder and condensed milk. Keep it aside.

  5. 5

    Add sauted carrot to the milk, cook it for 5 minutes. And now add sauted dry fruits

  6. 6

    Then add cardamom powder, jaiphal powder and now add the mixture. Cook it for another 5 minutes with adding sugar.

  7. 7

    Carrot Kheer is ready. Serve it hot or cold.
