1 tspvanilla
1 3/4 cupsugar
4eggs, 1 at a time
3 cupflour
1/2 tspsalt
1 1/2 tspbaking powder
1 cancherry pie filling

Blend together

Add, and beat well

Sift: and add to above ingredients

Save 1 cup of batter for topping.

Spread the rest of the batter in greased cookie sheet.

Spread 1 can cherry pie filling over batter.

Spoon remaining batter on top like islands.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Cool. Drip powered sugar icing on top
