Steps

To start with, Wash and soak rice for at least 1 hour.

Drain the rice and blend it in coarse paste. In the meanwhile, boil the milk and let it boil on low flame.

Add Phirni paste gradually and keep stirring so that paste doesn’t gets thick in bottom.

Add Saffron strands to it and once the milk gets thick, add cardamom and sugar to it. Keep stirring.

Add thandai powder to Phirni and keep stirring for another 5-10 minutes, until it attain the thandai’s full flavour.

Let it cool and then refrigerate before serving.

Garnish with shredded almonds and rose petals before serving.
