Scald milk. Mix sugar and crisco, add to milk and cool.

After milk is cool. Add yeast to water and flour to cake like dough, ~7 cups. Let rise 1 hour.

Work down and sprinkle baking powder and salt.

Dissolve baking soda into water and sprinkle into dough. Add ~3cups flour.

Refrigerate over night.

20 minutes before baking cut and let rise. Bake 400°F until golden brown.
