Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 2eggs
  2. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  3. pinchsalt
  4. 1onion, chopped
  5. 4garlic cloves
  6. pinchblack pepper
  7. 1 tspvegetable oil
  8. 1pepper to taste
  9. 1 smallhandful cheddar cheese, grated
  10. 1 tspsalt
  11. 1 lbground beef
  12. 1 cupbread crumbs
  13. 2 largeeggs
  14. 1cheddar cheese
  15. 1 tspsugar
  16. 2 cantomato puree

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl combine all ingredients for meatballs and mix to combine.

    In a large sauce pot, heat oil over meduim heat.

  3. 3

    Add onion and cook until tender. add garlic and cook one more minute.

  4. 4

    Add tomato sauce and blend well. stir in sugar, adjusting all seasonings to taste.

    Add meatballs to sauce and simmer on low at least one hour, up to 5 hours, stirring every 5-10 minutes. The longer you simmer it the better.

    Serve with preferred pasta.
