Ingredients

15 mins
6 servings
  1. 600 gramsfrozen spinach
  2. 3 clovegarlic
  3. 1 tbsplight butter
  4. 200 gramsherbed cream cheese
  5. 1/2 cupmilk
  6. 2 tspcoarse salt and pepper
  7. 200 gramsgrated cheese (orange colour)

Cooking Instructions

15 mins
  1. 1

Defrost frozen spinach and squeeze out all the water properly, chopping up the spinach roughly afterwards.

  2. 2

Melt the butter on medium low heat while peeling the garlic, slicing the garlic into one millimeter slices.

  3. 3

Cook the garlic at medium low until nicely browned, then tip in the chopped defrosted spinach.

  4. 4

Give the spinach a good throw around the pan so it separates and cooks through.

  5. 5

Place the mixture to the side and warm up the milk on low heat.

  6. 6

Tip in the cream cheese and half the seasoning and mix well for about a minute.

  7. 7

Combine both mixtures, remaining seasoning and half the cheese into a baking dish, mixing well. Cover with the remaining cheese and throw in the oven until cheese melts at the top.
