Wash, Peel, and slice carrots into 1/4 inch thick disks

Put the carrots into a medium to large sauce pan with enough water to cover them.

Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar into the water and bring to a boil.

Drain carrots when they are tender. Be careful not to cook them to mush.

Return carrots to pan and add your butter and remainder of brown sugar. the butter and sugar will melt into a thick liquid.

Leave the pan on low to medium heat to evaporate the liquid down until it becomes a caramelized coating on carrots.

Tada! Your carrots are done! Any indredients can be altered depending on how much you want to make and personal tastes :)
