Cabbage kachumber is a regular and a great accompaniment in every Gujarati's house...I love it soo much that at times I just eat it plain...it's very imp to serve it immediately.

Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds.

When the seeds crackle, add the asafoetida, curry leaves and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.

Add the cabbage and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring once in between.

Add the coriander seeds powder, sugar and lemon juice, mix well and cook on a medium flame for1 minute, while stirring once in between.

Serve immediately.
