At first mash the boiled potatoes

Now heat a pan add oil and temper five spices and dry red chilli

Add the onion slices and fry them well adding salt and turmeric powder

Now add the chopped tomatoes,crushed ginger and fry.cover it so that the tomatoes get tender

Now add the boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well

The aloo chokha is ready garnish it with fried dry red chilli and serve
