Ingredients

  • 3 cupsmaida / all-purpose flour / plain flour
  • to tastesalt
  • 2 tbspbutter unsalted
  • cold water as required
  • for butter dough:~
  • 400 gmbutter cold
  • 2 tsplemon juice / vinegar
  • to tastesalt
  • 1/2 cupmaida / all-purpose flour / plain flour
  • for stuffing:~
  • 2 tspoil
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds / jeera
  • 1/2medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 1green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tspginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cuppeas / matar
  • 1/2 cupbeetroot finely chopped
  • 1carrot finely chopped
  • 5beans finely chopped
  • 1/2 tspturmeric / haldi
  • 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder / lal mirch powder
  • to tastesalt
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1/2 tspaamchur powder / dry mango powder
  • 2medium sized potato boiled, peeled & mashed
  • 2 tbspcoriander leaves finely chopped
  • other ingredients:~
  • 1/4 cupmaida / all-purpose flour / plain flour for dusting
  • 2 tbspbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly, take the pastry sheet and roll to thin and uniform sheet.
    cut the sides and cut to rectangle pieces.
    place the prepared stuffing in the centre.
    and fold half, press and seal the sides.
    now place in the baking tray.
    brush the puff with butter for more golden colour.
    bake the puffs in preheated oven at 140 degrees for 25 minutes.
    finally, veg puffs or veg patties is ready to serve with tomato sauce.
