Ambe dal (Maharashtrian dish)

Soak the chana dal in four cups of water for at least four hour.

Drain the water.

Add the chana dal into a mixer and grind it.

In a mixing bowl grated raw mango, grind chana dal, salt, sugar, mix well.

Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, when the seeds splutter add asafoetida add turmeric.

Add dal mixture in a tadka pan add coconut mix well cook for 10 min heat off.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
