Ingredients

2 cupUrad dal
2green chilies
1 pieceginger
1 Teaspoonpepper powder
1/2 teaspoon Hing
to tasteSalt
1-2 teaspoonChopped coriander
1 onion
5-6 curry leaves
Water to grind
Oil for fry

Soak dal for 2 hours

Grind along with chilli and ginger adding very little water.

Add salt pepper powder hing and finely chopped coriander onion and curry leaves.

Beat the batter nicely for 2 mins.

Give vada shape and fry in medium hot oil.
