Clean the gourd and peel it lightly. Make a slight slit on one side and ensure it's not cut entirely

Mix it with turmeric and salt and fry it and keep it aside

Add some more oil if needed into the pan and add Cumin seeds,onion and garlic. Fry till onion is light brown

Then add the Ginger paste, Jeera powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. Mix well and then add the curd and saute it for few minutes

Add some sugar and some coconut paste into the masala mix and saute it. Once cooked add some water and bring it to boil

Add the gourds into the boiling water and let it cook in low flame till it's cooked and the gravy is thick

Add some Garam masala and coconut milk and mix well before removing.Serve it with rice,roti or Paratha.
