2 1/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/4 cupshortening
3/4 cupmilk

Sift dry ingredients

Cut in shortening

Make a well in the center and add milk

Stir lightly to blend

Lightly knead about 28 times
6

Pat or roll dough to desired thickness (about 1/2" thick for soft]

Cut with cutter and bake on ungreased sheet at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
