Ingredients

  • 3 bowlkatori basmati rice
  • 1/2green capsicum
  • 1/2yellow capsicum
  • 1/2red capsicum
  • 1chopped onion
  • 1carrot
  • 1potato
  • 1/4grated beet root (Soaked in water)
  • 1lemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 bowl soaked green peas
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonghee
  • 1 teaspoonbutter
  • 1 teaspoonjeera
  • 1/2 bowlFlorets of cauliflower
  • 1 tspKasuri methi
  • 2Sliced tomatoes
  • 2Sliced onions
  • 1Tej patta
  • 2Laung
  • 1/2 tsp Kali mirch
  • 1/2 cupSoaked cashew nuts, almonds, kishmish
  • 2 teaspoonbiryani masala
  • 2 tbspChopped green coriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Take water in vessel and let it boil, as water starts boiling add soaked rice by removing water and let it cook

  2. 2

    Sieve water and put rice in the plate

  3. 3

    Take kadai add little butter and ghee

  4. 4

    Put jeera, chopped onion and saute till golden brown

  5. 5

    Add all the chopped vegetables(potatoes, capsicum, carrot, peas) dry fruits mix well

  6. 6

    Add all masala and mix well cover it and let it cook till it becomes soft

  7. 7

    Add biryani masala, lemon juice and grated beet root.Mix well

  8. 8

    Add cooked rice and mix well

  9. 9

    Garnish with green coriander leaves, grapes and tomatoes

  10. 10

    Biryani is ready to serve with raita
