Hi friends....... today I made lauki ke kofte. They are amazing. You should try this. Also it's very easy to make and all the ingredients are easily available. So try this and send me the cooksnaps.

Making of kofta;

Crush the lauki [not in grinder] and put it in a cooker with one cup of water and boil it for 5 min. instantly open the cooker remove the water and keep it aside in a vessel. After 10 min. add 4 tbsp besan, salt and red chilli powder [as per taste], 1 pinch baking soda in it. Now mix it well.

Take a pan and add oil to it for deep frying koftas. As the oil heats up make small round balls and fry it until the koftas become brown. When it becomes brown take it out from the pan. Our koftas are ready.

Making of gravy;

Take a vessel [kadai] and add 4 tbsp oil in it. Add ginger garlic paste and chilli paste [optional] and cook it on low flame for 2 min. Then grind onions add in the mixture and cook it on medium flame for 10 min.

When the onion starts becoming brown make tomato piury and add it in mixture. Then cook it on low flame for 15 min. Now add salt, red chilli powder turmeric, garam masala [as per taste] and mix it well.

When the oil starts seperating add 2 tbsp of cream/malai and then cook it for 2 min. Now add two cup of water in this mixture and then again cook it on low flame for 10-15 min. Then you can add coriander leaves in it. Our delicious gravy and koftas are ready.

Serve the koftas by putting it in hot gravy.
