Ingredients

  • 2 cupurad dal
  • 2green chilies
  • 1 pieceginger
  • 1 teaspoonpepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonhing
  • To tastesalt
  • 5-6curry leaves
  • as neededWater to grind
  • Oil for fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak dal for 2 hours.

  2. 2

    Grind along with chilli and ginger,curry leaves adding very little water.

  3. 3

    And salt pepper powder hing.

  4. 4

    Beat the batter nicely for 2 mins.

  5. 5

    Give vada shape and fry in medium hot oil.
