Ingredients

20 minutes
3-4 servings
  • 200 grambitter gourd
  • 2Potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • 1dry red chilli
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the Potatoes into thin slices

  2. 2

    Cut the bitter gourd into thin rings

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and dry red chilli, temper

  4. 4

    Add the gourd pieces fry well adding salt and turmeric powder

  5. 5

    As the gourd pieces get a bit soft add the Potatoes and saute well

  6. 6

    Cover it for 10 mnts or so keeping the heat low

  7. 7

    Finally remove the cover and add sugar(optional)

  8. 8

    Your bitter gourd recipe is ready
