Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 cupbasmati rice
  • 1chopped onion
  • 2,3green chilli
  • 1 tbspgngr-grlic paste
  • 1chopped tomato
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1" cinnamon stick
  • 2green cardmom
  • 4cloves
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 2 cupchopped veggies
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3 spoonmustard oil
  • 2 spoonghee
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspgaram Masala powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, green cardmom, cloves and saute till aromat.

    Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add chopped green chilli, onion saute till translucent.

  4. 4

    Add gngr-grlic paste and saute till row aroma goes off.

  5. 5

    Then add chopped tomatoes, powdered spices and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add chopped veggies of ur choice mix everything well.

  7. 7

    Add soaked rice stir well.

  8. 8

    Then add salt and enough water cover and cook on low flame.

  9. 9

    Garnish with chopped coriander and pour ghee over it and serve hot..
