This is an authentic cusine of Bengal prepared with big cucumber and fritters made of Bengal gram

Heat oil in a wok

Add salt and sugar,red chilli Powder, chopped green chillies into the daal paste

Mix properly and fry fritters taking out small portion of the mixture,keep aside

Now pour oil if needed and temper jeera seeds and bay leaf

Add the cucumber slices and saute adding salt and turmeric powder

Cover it till the moisture dries up

Now add the ginger paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears

Now add the powder masalas and mix well

Add tomato puree and mix well till the masala start to release oil

Now add water and simmer to get the cucumber get soft

Add the fritters and keep it covered for 2-3 minutes

Finally add sugar and chopped green chillies

Serve it with plain rice
